- Friday, January 27 was World Holocaust Remembrance Day. Take time to remember the 6
million
Jewish victims and pray against injustice around the world.
Habakkuk 1:3 – Habakkuk complains to the Lord -“Why do you make me look at
injustice? Why do you tolerate wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; there is
strife, and conflict abounds.”
Habakkuk 1:5 – The Lord replies to Habakkuk - “Look at the nations and watch – and be
utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe,
even if you were told.”
- Pray for peace in Memphis, TN (US) and other cities in light of police brutality and murder of a
young man. Pray for good law enforcement staff that will uphold lawful ways without brutal
force and change the hearts of those enforcers filled with hurt, anger, and/or hatred that they
will repent of their evil ways. Pray the media does not stir up undo strife in the nation.
- Pray for our children, from the womb through college, for protection of their innocence. Bring
God back into our education institutions and close the door to Satan and the lies that are being
instilled in our youth. Pray for education administrations, teachers and parents to stand against
gender confusion, drugs, suicide, immorality and all that is outside of God’s plans for our
children.
Proverbs 22:6 – “Train child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn
from it.”
(For more information see Dutch Sheets, Give Him Fifteen broadcast of January 26, 2023
entitled “Don’t Give Up on America’s Youth.”)
Pray for Difference Makers Church Youth Weekend (FUSE) for middle and high school
aged youth, February 3 – 5 that they will be filled with the Holy Spirit and develop a
lasting relationship with the Lord.
- Pray that Christians will do their civic duty, register to vote, be informed, go to the polls, and put
their freedom into practice. It has been noted that 80 million Christians are not registered to
vote. How can we elect officials with Godly values, protect our children from current teachings,
and stop the murder of babies through abortion if we can’t or don’t vote?
Mark 12:17 – “Then Jesus said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God
what is God’s”. . .”
2 Chronicles 7:14 – “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves
and pray and seek my face an turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven
and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
