Prodigal: exceedingly or recklessly wasteful; a person who wastes his means
Most of us are familiar with the parable of the Lost (Prodigal) Son, found in Luke 15:11-32. It is the story of a young man who squandered his inheritance on wild living. After he spent all his money and was homeless and hungry, he returned to his father, asked forgiveness, and his father received back into the home.
There are many prodigal sons and daughters who need to come home to their “Father,” God. Pray for their return, do not give up on them, regardless of their age, we need them home in the kingdom. “Then he (Jesus) said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into this harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38. The Church, the Bride of Christ, needs revival, Christian hearts need revival, the prodigals need revival and need to be Welcomed Home. There are many lost souls that need the salvation of the Lord. We need harvesters, we need our prodigals to join in the gathering of the lost. No one knows the day Jesus will return, except the father, but with every day that passes, his return is a day closer, “Behold I am coming soon!,” Revelation 22:7a.
Pray for the prodigals, pray for revival, pray for the unsaved.
Praise: The Woman’s Health Protection Act bill did not pass. Thank you for our prayers.
