-          Pray against terrorist attacks.

Iran backed Houthi militants launched a missile attack on a Saudi Arabian airport last weekend, killing at least twelve people and leaving over three hundred injured. Houthis are building advanced ballistic missiles, using parts from China, with a capability of reaching Israel and Saudi Arabia. Israel seeks to help Saudi Arabia against Houthi terrorists, but Saudi is reluctant fearing further threats from Iran. Pray for wisdom and righteous leadership in all these nations, pray for an end to terrorist activity, and pray for peace.

Jeremiah 6:10 – “To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The work of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.”

Isaiah 33:22 – “For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.”

-          Prayers for Indonesia.

Pray for an end to the forest fires in Indonesia that have caused unhealthy air pollution levels for millions of people across Southeast Asia. Elevated temperatures and prolonged drought have contributed to this severe wildfire season. Pray for relief from the fires and the smoke for Indonesia and surrounding areas and pray for firefighters who battle the blaze.

John 16:33b – “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.”

-          Pray for an end to the Russian/Ukrainian war.

Talks of peace and proposed ceasefires have failed to bring an end to the ongoing war. Russian forces attacked six Ukrainian energy facilities on Monday. Pray for a lasting truce and peace between these nations. Pray for that there will be energy sources to provide the protection needed against the forthcoming wintry weather.

Isaiah 61:1b,2 – “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor rand the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn.”

-          Pray for families.

Divorce, poor choices, and no God, is leaving behind a pulperia of broken homes, with broken children and adults. Pray for marriages, for adults to be selfless, not selfish, pray for children to be loved and nurtured, and pray for families to invite Jesus into their hearts and the Holy Spirit into their homes. Pray for a move of God in families everywhere.

Ephesians 5:25 – “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”

Ephesians 6:4 – “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”

Ephesians 5:22,23a – “Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church.”

Proverbs 31:10-12, 27,28 – “A wife of noble character who can fine? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm all the days of her life. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.”

-          Pray for Life.

Pray for abortions to end worldwide. Pray for parents to desire life for their children. Pray for a change of heart for those who support and perform abortions as a solution to an unwanted pregnancy. Change hearts that no child is unwanted.

Genesis 1:27,28a – “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them, “Be fruitful ad increase in number; fil the earth and subdue it.”

Psalm 127:3 – Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”

-          Pray for Missionaries.

Pray for those on the mission field, for their provision and protection. Pray the Holy Spirit fills them with the right words and actions at the right time and pray for the ears of those who hear to be open and their hearts to desire to know Jesus.

Mark 16:15,16 – “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

 -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
