- Pray for Spain, Greece, and United States.
Last weekend Spain and Greece experienced record rainfalls, violent weather, and flooding. This weekend the United States Gulf states and the east coast is experiencing hurricane Isaias, bringing heavy rains, wind, and flooding.
Pray for all those facing these storms and flooding, for their safety and recovery from damage.

Proverbs 3:5a – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.”
- Pray for the launching of an Office of Religious Affairs, U.S.
Pray for U.S. Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, as he prepares to launch an Office of Religious Affairs at the Pentagon. He hopes to strengthen the spiritual role of military chaplains and provide faith-based support for U.S. troops and their families. As people debate over Christianity and American national identity, including some Christians, Hegseth states, “putting on the full armor of God” is important while we wage war physically because, “we know the real battle is spiritual.” Pray for wisdom and for God to move in this endeavor.
Isaiah 55:6 – “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”
Ephesians 6:10,11 – “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
- Pray for the end of the Russian/Ukraine war.
Two Russian attacks on Ukraine this past week, one occurring near two passenger buses and one on a five-story apartment building, has left fifty-five civilians dead and seventy-two wounded. Pray for those who have lost loved ones and pray for this war to end and that peace will be restored.
Isaiah 26:2,3 – “Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith. You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in you.”
- Pray for Israel.
Continue to pray for Israel as last week marked the third anniversary of the October 7th Hamas massacre. Approximately twelve hundred people were killed and two hundred fifty-one abducted during the attack. As memorial events were held in remembrance of loved ones, pray for those who continue to mourn and for the end of terrorist attacks.
Isaiah 30:19 – “O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.”
- Pray for the Jewish residents of New York City, U.S.
New York City is home to one of the world’s largest Jewish populations. At one time they could not imagine antisemitism happening in their city, but half of all the hate crimes confirmed from January until September 2026, have been targeted on Jewish New Yorkers. Stand in prayer for these acts of hatred against the Jewish people to end.
Proverbs 6:16 – 19 – “There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and that shed innocent blood, a hear that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.”
- Praise God for the Word and your Bible.
Over five hundred million Christians, worldwide, face restrictions on Bible access. In some nations processing scripture can result in imprisonment or death. Over one hundred twenty-five million people desire to have a bible but lack physical or online access to the Word. Pray for religious freedom and for all who desire a Bible to be able to possess one without restriction or persecution, pray for Bible distribution, and pray for more effort to be places on bringing the scriptures to believers and those who have not heard. And remember to thank God if you have a Bible in your possession and remember to read it.
Psalm 138:2 – “I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.”
- Pray for abortions to end everywhere.
Regardless of what laws may or may not exist, pray for all parents to choose life for their unborn children.

- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
