- Pray for Israel.
Pray for Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he will travel to New York, U.S. to address the United Nations General Assembly on September 23rd. Amid the possibilities of political threats and protest, the Prime Minister feels it is a time to address accusations and defend Israel’s rights to protect its citizens and military operations to minimize terrorist activity. He feels Israel has the right to exist and defend. Pray for his safety and a positive and peaceful outcome during this time of assembly.
Psalm 60:11,12 – “Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.”
- Pray for the Middle East.
Iran strikes hit U.S. installations in several countries this past week where aircrafts and drones were damaged and eleven American service personnel were killed. Pray for agreements to be reached and for this war to end. Pray for the families who mourn the loss of loved ones.
Isaiah 13:11 – “I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.”
- Continue prayers for the Russian/Ukraine war to end.
As peace talks happen then fade, Russia’s attack drones are getting faster to reach targets more quickly. Ukraine is working on the production of interceptors that will react to these faster drones. Pray for the war to end and the money that is going into weapons to be used to rebuild their countries and families.
Psalm 34:14 – “Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”
- Pray for Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Five people died and forty were injured when a coach struck a barrier and overturned in the Swiss Alps. The passengers were part of an elderly Dutch Tourist group. Pray for those who lost loved ones and for healing those injured.
Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
- Pray for wisdom in the use of AI (artificial intelligence).
The news is filled with controversy concerning the further development of AI. The positive outlook is improved medical discoveries, possible economic growth, and stronger security. However, AI could also give unprecedented power to government and corporations. Pray for those working on AI to use discernment and pray for people to always test what they are hearing with the truth from the Word.
Proverbs 3:7 – “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.”
Isaiah 5:21 – “Woe to those who are wise in their own eye and clever in their own sight.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
