- Pray for Indonesia.
Government corruption, tax hikes, budget cuts, and expansion of the military into civilian life are causing escalating unrest. Pray for the ruling government to come to God and righteousness. Pray for Christians in Indonesia, that they remain safe and strong in their faith.
- Pray for the Ukraine/Russian war to end.
President Zelenskyy stated that the military would “continue active operation. . .needed for Ukraine’s defense,” as Russia continues “relentless drone and missile attacks.” Pray for peace to come quickly and for an end to the loss of so many lives.
Pray for all nations to have Godly leadership.
Proverb 3:5-7 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.”
Proverbs 11:14 – “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisors.”
- Pray for Afghanistan.
A powerful earthquake devasted east Afghanistan, near the Pakistan border, killing over a thousand people and injuring over twenty-five hundred. Entire village collapsed and landslides blocked access to those buried under the rumble. Pray for all those who have lost loved ones and their homes.
- Pray for Portugal.
Seventeen people were killed and twenty-one injured in a cable-pulled tramway accident. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones and for healing for the injured. Pray that those in charge of overseeing mechanical operations of equipment are diligent and have the wisdom to spot and correct issues with transportation vehicles of all types.
Pray comfort for those who mourn and healing for those injured.
Psalm 34:19 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Isaiah 53:5 “. . .by his wounds we are healed.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
