-          Pray for wildfires to be contained.

Pray for residents and firefighters as Southern Europe experiences massive wildfires in Southern France, Portugal, Spain, and Greece. The United States is also battling over five hundred thousand acres of burning wildfires. Drought, extensive heat, wind, and lack of snowfall this past winter are blamed for intensifying these fires.

Isaiah 43:2-3a – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, our God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

-          Pray for China.

Flooding occurred in China last week killing at least seventeen people and injuring hundreds. Over one hundred thirty thousand people were evacuated. With the possibility of a super typhoon approaching, pray for protection from these natural disasters.

              Psalm 103:8a – “The Lord is compassionate and gracious.”

-          Pray for South Asia.

Monsoons are causing landslides and are placing thousands of displaced people in harms way as they are living in fragile shelters. Pray for their protection. Pray for Bangladesh, and the families of the seven children and a teacher who died last week in a landslide.

Isaiah 54:10a – “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken.”

       -      Pray for Pakistan.

At lest forty people were killed and eight injured when a bus crashed seventy feet into a ravine. Mourn with those who have lost loved ones.

              Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

-          Continue prayers for the Middle East.

The United States launched strikes on Iran last week when they violated the ceasefire and made attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Jordan intercepted Iranian missiles last week. As this conflict expands beyond Iran’s borders, the Middle East stands on the edge of a wider war. The funeral ceremonies for Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei moved from grief to a political event as shouts of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” filled the air also adding to fuel to further conflicts.

Psalms 3:7,8 – “Arise, O Lord! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.”

-          Pray for the United States and a stand against Communism.

As the United States celebrated its 250^th birthday, President Trump warned against the communist ideology that is rising in the U.S. and abroad and the threat it causes to American liberty. Pray against the “threat of rising democratic socialism and communism movement” and pray for the safety of President Trump as threats come against his life. Let people see truth in world history and more importantly in God’s Word and not be draw into the lies of Satan and this world.

Psalms 2:10-12 – “Therefore, you kings, be wise, be warned, your rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.”

-          Pray for Jerusalem as they prepare to host event.

On October 4, 2026, Jerusalem plans to host its 24^th Annual Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. Over seventy million Christians from 175 nations are expected to unite in prayer. This is more than a prayer event it is a “declaration that Israel is not alone.”  This event will be broadcast live from the Tower of David Jerusalem Museum. Pray for a peaceful event.

2 Samuel 7:24 “You have established our people Israel as your very own forever, and you, O Lord, have become their God.”

Psalm 131:3 – “O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, both now and forevermore.”

 -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
