- Pray for Israel.

40 countries met at the United Nations in New York last week with an initiative to “support the path towards a comprehensive peace between Israel and Palestine.” Also, President Biden is planning a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington D.C. by December of this year. Pray for these countries, long time allies, to have a constructive and productive exchange. Continue prayers for peace between Israel and Palestine.

Psalm 34:14 – “Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”

- Pray for Life.

“Pro-life leaders in Israel will hold a first-ever “National Prayer for Life” event in central Israel.” The event started Friday, September 22 and will continue during the “Ten Days of Awe”. This is the time between the Jewish Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. It is estimated that one in every five pregnancies in Israel ends in abortion. This has prompted Messianic and Evangelical Jewish leaders to call pastors and lay people to repentance and petition. Let people around the world stand in the gap, with Israel, for the unborn and pray.

Exodus 20:13 – “You shall not murder.”

Psalm 51:10 – “Create in me a pure hear, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

- Pray for protection of Taiwan’s democracy.

Taiwan has been an independent government since 1949. However, China still regards it as part of its territory. China continues harassment of Taiwan by surrounding the island with warships and with warplanes flying overhead in a threatening drill.

Proverbs 10:30 – “The righteous will never by uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land.”

- Pray for Wisdom as Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) progresses.

The Washington Times report that “United Nation’s chief warns Artificial Intelligence may lead

the world into more danger than we can control.” According to the report, “Even some of those

who developed generative A.I. are calling for great regulation,” as many problems can arise from

human like responses to user prompts on phone and computers and online surveillance data

harvesting. There is concern and a need to find ways to protect the private sector and to mitigate risks and to harness A.I. for good.

1 Corinthians 1:19 – “For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the

intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
