-          Continue prayers for Nepal.

As of Friday, over five thousand people were still missing from disastrous flood. Continue to pray for those missing, for rescue workers, and for those that have lost loved ones. As these natural disasters continue throughout the earth, pray for people to come to Jesus for salvation and eternal life before it is too late.

Matthew 24:36-39 – “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Sone of Man.”

-          Pray for the Middle East.

As Iran and the United States continue to exchange strikes, the Strait of Hormoz remains the central point of contention. Pray for the innocent people who must live amid these attacks.

Psalm 44:5-7 – “Through you we push back our enemies; through your name we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame.”

-          Continue prayers for the Russian/Ukraine war to end.

A Russian drone attack on a Ukrainian warehouse near Kyiv, Friday, August 28th, killed thirty-seven people and injured dozens more. Pray for families that have lost loved ones and pray for the injured. Pray that a peace agreement can be reached and the loss of lives will not continue.

Psalm 140:1,2,4 – Rescue me, O Lord, from evil men; protect me from men of violence, who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from men of violence who plan to trip my feet.”

-          Pray for Christians in Pakistan.

Christians are alarmed by increased deadly violence, the abduction of girls, and a claim that forced conversion is taking place. Pray for Christians to have wisdom and to stand through this time of persecution while praying for an end of persecution for those who love Jesus worldwide.

Proverbs 22:8 – “He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.”

Philippians 1:20,21 – “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

-          Pray for protection of United States infrastructure.

As China, Russia, and other American adversaries could use “blackout warfare” using electromagnetic pulse weapons to breakdown United States electrical and communication infrastructures, “potentially plunging large portion of the country into darkness,” as reported Worthy News. An emerging battlefield of cyber attacks on critical infrastructure could replace traditional military strikes in the future. Pray for preparedness against these attacks.

Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

 -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
