- Pray for Israel
As the war continues thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have been killed and many more injured. Continue to lift of Israel as they fight against the terrorist attacks on their country. Pray for protection for all Christians and civilians. Pray for comfort for those who have lost loved ones. Pray for the injured to be healed. Pray for the hostages, that they may be released. Pray for those who have lost their homes and/or have been displaced. Pray for the violence and evil to end. And pray that amid this war many will call upon the Lord and accept Jesus as the promised Messiah and their Savior.
Isaiah 60:1-3 – “Arise Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the
Lord rises to shine on you. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth,
but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light;
mighty kings will come to see your radiance.”
- Pray for Mike Johnson
Mike Johnson was elected as the new United States House Speaker last week. He is a Christian and a conservative and is not afraid to speak God’s Word. He believes that who God has raised up in positions of authority have great responsibility to serve the people. Worthy News reported that Johnson spoke about his faith and the Bible “…he urged fellow Republicans to stand with Israel after Jews faced their worst massacres since the Holocaust.” Thank God for placing a strong Christian in the United States government. Pray for wisdom and discernment for Mike Johnson and for protection for him, his family, and his staff. Pray God will raise up more Godly men and women and place them in governments around the world.
Romans 13:1 – “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes
from God, and those in position of authority have been placed there by God.”
- Pray for Lewiston, Maine (United States)
Pray for Lewiston, Maine as two mass shootings left 22 dead and over fifty people injured. Pray for family and friends that lost loved ones and pray for emotion and physical healing of those injured. Pray God’s comfort and pray for forgiveness to replace bitterness at this difficult time. Pray for the family of the dead gunman, as they walk through this turmoil.
Lamentations 3:22 – “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.”
Matthew 6:14,15 – “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will
forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
