- Pray for France.
Student demonstrations and violent riots have transpired into emergency curfews in some French cities. The unrest is being fueled by communist organizations, socialist movements, labor unions, an unstable economic and political climate, and declining confidence in the government. Pray for wise leadership and peace. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fall in France.
2nd Timothy 3:1-5 – “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lover of the good, treacherous, rash conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lover of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.”
- Pray for Kenya.
A cult leader and twenty-eight members were convicted of the murder of one hundred ninety-one people, all children but one. The cult encouraged followers to starve their children to death so they “could meet Jesus.” Pray for comfort to those who have lost beloved children and repentance, renewal, and restoration of those with minds that are void of God’s Word and Will.
Matthew 7:15,16a,18-20 – “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”
- Pray for Russian to desire peace.
Last week Russian missiles and drones killed at least eight people and left over a million people without electricity in Ukraine. Moldova, Romania, and Bulgaria, all hit by Russian drones, fear the war is extending beyond Ukrainian borders. Pray for this fighting, destruction, and killing to end.
Romans 12:18,21 – “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good.”
- Pray for the Middle East tensions.
Pray for Israel as Prime Minister, Benejamin, Netanyahu, has asked Israeli Defense Force, Mossad, and other security agencies to pursue the overthrow of Iran’s Islamic regime. Iran has refused to surrender its enriched uranium stockpile, and the United States is unwilling to accept a nuclear armed Islamic Republic. Tensions escalate as Israel and the United States work on a timetable for the next steps.
Psalm 53:6 – “Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion. When God restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.”
- Pray for American public schools.
There is concern over Congress’s findings of “antisemitism, anti-Israel activism, and radical political indoctrination in American public schools.”” They have uncovered “troubling curriculum materials and activities within public school districts in California and Pennsylvania, as well as the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest teachers’ union,” per Worthy News. Pray for our children and pray for correct curriculums in the schools; that produce a thinking and righteous society not one filled with prejudice and hate.
Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it.”
- Pray for abortions to end everywhere.
Pray for life. Pray for the unborn. Pray for parents to love their children born and those developing in the womb. Pray for people’s desire would be to end abortions.
Psalm 139:13,14 – “For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
