- Continue to pray for Israel.

Pray for those suffering from this war. Pray for the hostages to be released. Pray for the killing to cease. Pray for people on both sides to come to Christ. Pray for peace.

Psalm 122:6-7 – “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.

May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”

- Pray for those in Afghanistan as another earthquake shakes the area. Another strong earthquake hit Afghanistan’s western province of Herat last week. This one following a series of deadly quakes last Saturday. Pray for relief as many people need shelter, food, blankets, medicines, and hygiene supplies. Pray for surrounding countries to come to their aid. Pray for those that need salvation.

Psalm 46:1-3,11 – “God is our refuge and strength, Avery preset help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change, And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride.” “The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold.”

- Pray for Christians in China as persecution intensifies. Worthy News reports that China’s ruling Communist Party continues to crack down on Christians and other religious minorities. Crosses are being removed from churches and new restrictions are being added to religious activities. Sermons must reflect China politics as opposed to religious doctrines. China is ranked 16th on the US Open Doors World Watch List of the top 50 countries where Christians are persecuted for 2023.

Matthew 5:11-12 – “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

- Pray for the Christian organization ‘All Things Possible Ministries’. Worthy News shared a report stating 40,000 trafficked women and children around the world have been freed with the help of ‘All Things Possible Ministries’. This organization “…has worked with law enforcement to track down predations and to rescue and rehabilitate trafficked victims…” Sex Trafficking and child pornography is a global concern and young people and teens have joined in as consumers. ‘All Things Possible Ministries’ not only helps to free victims but provides shelter and skills training, “We believe that Jesus is the healer of trauma. We demonstrate His love by showing compassion, meeting needs and providing resources for those that are broken and suffering…” Pray protection over victims, pray for people to support this

ministry, and pray for an end to sex trafficking and child pornography.

Isaiah 61:1-3 – “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lod has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God. To comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”
