- Continue Prayers for the Philippines.
Pray for survivors of recent natural disasters in the Philippines, who are now facing heavy rains and landslides. Much of the infrastructure has been damaged and people need clean water, shelter, and medical supplies.
Isaiah 30:18a – “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion.”
Philippians 4:19 – “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
- Pray for the Gaza war to end and for hostages to be returned.
As plans move forward, pray for the hostages and their return and pray for the end to this war.
Psalm 33:20,21 – “We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.”
- Pray for Northern Mozambique.
Pray for Mozambique where over thirty Christians were beheaded and churches burned as terrorists’ attacks intensify. The ongoing violence has displaced tens of thousands of people and has forced humanitarian organizations to suspend work in the area. Pray for those who lost loved ones and those that witnessed this horrifying event and pray that people will get the help they need.
Psalm 27:1,2 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall, I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.”
Psalm 34:15,16 – “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.”
- Continue prayers for Ukraine.
Russia continues to bombard Ukraine leaving people without power and damaging schools, churches, and homes. Strikes have intensified on energy infrastructures which will cause additional issues for Ukraine as a frigid winter is expected.
Psalm 94:20-23 – “Can a corrupt throne be allied with you, one that brings on misery by its decrees? They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge. He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them.”
- Pray for governments.
Pray for the United States as they continue to experience a Government Shutdown and for France as they are experiencing a political crisis due to controversy over fiscal reforms. Pray that those in governmental positions can work out differences and do what is best for the citizens of their countries.
Psalm 33:10,11 – “The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
