- Pray for the Philippines.
A tropical storm devastated the Central Philippines leaving at least ten people dead and causing 433,000 people to evacuate. This storm was followed by a super typhoon in the Northern Philippines and Taiwan killing at least twenty-eight people. Central Philippines then experienced a powerful earthquake killing around sixty-nine people. Power outages occurred and roads, buildings, and churches were damaged. Pray for those losing loved ones, those injured, recue teams that continue to search for missing people, and those that have lost their homes.
Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Proverbs 18: 10 – “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”
Psalm 61:4 – “I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.”
- Prayers for those being persecuted in Afghanistan.
Pray for Afghanistan as the Taliban has cut internet and telephone services causing a nationwide communications blackout. The Taliban states these actions are to enforce “Morality measures.” Meanwhile on-line education, banking transactions, and airport operations are being affected. Pray for Christians in Afghanistan as they have no access to on-line worship, teachings, scriptures, and no communication from the global body of Christ.
Psalm 145:18,20 – “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who all on him in truth. The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.”

- Pray for anti-Semitic violence to end.
A car plowed into a synagogue on Yom Kippur in Manchester, England. The driver then attacked members of the congregation with a knife. Two people were killed and three were seriously injured. Police shot the suspect. Pray for families who have lost loved ones, for the injured, for the congregation, and for this violence activity against the Jewish people to end.
Isaiah 55:6,7 – “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.”
- Pray for Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, United States.
A man rammed his truck into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter0day Saints in Michigan last week. He then proceeded to open fire on the hundreds of people inside the church, killing four people and injuring eight others. The chapel was then set ablaze. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, for those injured, the church family, and the township. Bring an end to attacks on churches worldwide.
2 Corinthians 1:3,4 – “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
- Continue to keep Israel in your prayers and that all the Jewish people would come to Jesus.
Psalm 25:22 – “Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles.”
- Pray for an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Psalm 2:1,2,10,11 – “Why do nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed. Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
