- Pray for Mozambique, Malawi, and Madagascar as hundreds have died, thousands had to flee
their homes, and people are still missing after Cyclone Freddy, the longest lasting tropical
cyclone, caused havoc in these nations. There is need for clean water, food, and shelter.
Mozambique and Malawi have experienced an outbreak of cholera and it is feared that the
aftermath of this cyclone will worsen the spiral of water-borne diseases. Pray for all in need and
pray for all to know Jesus and accept Him as their savior.
Isaiah 43:2 – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and when you pass
through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.”
Psalm 9:9 – “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”
- Continue to pray for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. Pray for the Kurdish victims as
Turkey is blocking the generous response of humanitarian aid to earthquake victims in northern
Syria and Iraq. Turkey also is continuing its bombing campaign against them. Pray for changed
hearts.
Ezekiel 11:19 – “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will
remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.”
- Pray against any attacks US rivals, China, Russia, and Iran may be planning against the United
States.
Isaiah 54:17 – “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every
tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their
vindication from me, declares the Lord.”
- 100,000 Californians still have no power as storms whip hurricane force winds and flood homes.
As the storm moves eastward 25 million more people are threatened by these weather
conditions. Pray for the storm to subside and for people to get relief.
Psalm 6: 4 – Turn, O Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.”
Continue to pray for Ukraine.
