- Pray for our government and our leaders to have and display wisdom to protect and secure

important information and to hire people of integrity and trustworthiness.

Reports this past week say that the United States federal government agencies have been hit in

a global cyberattack by Russian cybercriminals. It was noted that other companies and

organizations could be affected by this hacking spree.

Proverbs: 20:6 – “Many a man proclaims his own loyalty, but who can find a trustworthy

man?”

- Pray for those who have lost their families, homes, and livelihoods. Pray they will find physical

refuge and refuge in the Lord.

Worthy News reports 110 million people were displaced worldwide, this past year, due to wars,

persecution, or human rights violations. 35 million refugees were forced to flee to other

countries. 19 million were displaced from their homes in Ukraine, more than 1 million each from

Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, and Myanmar. The war in Sudan has displaced nearly 2

million people since April.

Proverbs 28:5 – “Evil men do not understand justice but those who seek the Lord

understand it fully.”

- Pray for freedom from ungodly control.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched a “global digital health certification

network”, per Worthy News, and critics fear it will restrict the freedoms of billions of people.

WHO, director-general, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says that “digital infrastructure

remains an important resource for health systems and for economies and societies at large.

WHO plans to partner with the European Union (EU) certification system. “The EU’s

Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Stella Kyriakides, call the “partnership” with WHO an

“important step for the digital action plan” of the EU Global Health Strategy. She feels WHO can

advance global digital health and “deliver better health for all, in the EU and across the world.”

Some feel this system may require “individuals to show proof of vaccination to work, trave, or

eat.” This system could be compared to the “social credit system in Communist-run China,

where dissidents, including Christians, can lose credit for “unsocial behavior” linked to their

views. Without these credits, they can be limited in freedoms.” This could be another step

towards controlling people’s lives.

Psalms 2:1-2 – “Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain”? The kings of

the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his

Anointed One.”

- Pray that people will not be taken in by the artificial but desire the mind of Christ and look to

men and women with the mind of Christ to lead them.

“Hundreds of Protestant Christians in southeastern Germany have attended a church service

that was nearly entirely generated by artificial intelligence (AI) despite warnings the invention

could destroy humanity.” AI, according to Wikipedia “is intelligence-perceiving, synthesizing and

inferring information – demonstrated by machines, as opposed to intelligence displayed by

human or by other animals.”

Genesis 1:26 – “Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our

likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over

the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the

earth.”

Romans 1:28 – Furthermore since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the

knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not be

done.”
