- Pray for people to find their identity in Christ. Per Worthey news, a “Danish study has shown that transgender individuals have significantly higher rates of suicide attempts and mortality than non-transgender individuals.” We were made by God for His purpose. Pray for those who have listened to the lies of Satan and lost their identity of who they were made to be. Pray for hearts to change and that people would not perform or desire surgeries to change who they were born to be.

Genesis 1:27 – “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.”

Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born, I consecrated you:”

John 1:12 – Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”

- Continue to pray for persecuted Christians. “Leaders from the church of Christ in Nations denomination in Nigeria have called for all Christians to beseech God for His mercy on their land as Fulani Islamic jihadists murdered 11 more Christians in Nigeria’s Plateau state and 20 Christians in neighboring Taraba state in attacks on June 27 and June 25 respectively”, per Worthy News. Christians who can meet without persecution must heed this cry and pray as over 50,000 Christians have been slaughtered in Nigeria, alone, since 2009, while the Nigeria government and the international community have remained bystanders. Crops and farms, owned by Christians, are being destroyed by terrorist to inflict additional hardship and hunger. Give praise if you remain free to worship and pray for those who are persecuted.

Luke 12:17-19 – “And everyone will hate you because you are mine and are called by my name. But not a hair of your head will perish! For if you stand firm, you will win your souls.”

Hebrews 2:18 – “For since he himself has now been through suffering and temptation, he knows what it is like when we suffer and are tempted, and he is wonderfully able to help us.”

- Pray for Christians in China and thank God if you have freedom to attend church services without question. China has begun rolling out an app that will require citizen to pre-register to attend an “approved” religious service. The Chinese Communist Party app will only apply to Christian churches, Mosques, Buddhist temples and others, if the church is registered with the state and agrees to preach government approved messages. People can attend services only after registering and giving all their information to the Chinese government. The app will be on people’s phones and will be checked by authorities. This app, which has been rolled out in the Henan Province could easily spread across China.

Romans 8:18-21 – “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.”
