-          Pray for Texas, United States.

Continue to pray for families and friends in Texas who lost loved ones in the recent flood. The flash flood left one hundred twenty people dead, destroyed homes and roads, and devastated communities. Keep them in your prayers as they mourn their losses and attempt to rebuild their lives.

Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

-          Pray for Eastern Iraq.

A fire at a newly opened shopping mall in Eastern Iraq kill over sixty people and left some missing. Pray for those mourning the loss of family members and friends.

              1^st Peter 5:7 – “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

              Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

-          Pray for salvation in North Korea.

Pray for six Americans detained in South Korea for attempting to send Bibles to North Korea. Pray that this discovery does not hamper “long-standing initiatives to reach North Koreans with faith-based materials.” Pray for Christians in North Korea as North Korea ranks first on the World Watch List for Christian persecution. Pray all North Koreans come to know Jesus.

2^nd Timothy 3:12-14 – “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it.”

Mark 16:15 – “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”

-          Pray for Christians in China.

China now requires facial recognition cameras in all registered churches in China as a further crackdown on Christianity. As unrest and economic pressure rises in China, more are turning to the Lord, and the government is intensifying its efforts to suppress the growing underground church movement. Pray for Christians to be protected and to continue the spread of the Gospel.

2^nd Corinthians 4:4 – “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

-          Pray for peaceful resolutions to wars in the Middle East and between Russia and Ukraine. Pray for wise leadership and resolutions to crisis as wars continue.

Romans 12:18 – “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

Proverbs 11:14,20 – “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure.” The Lord detests men of perverse heart, but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.”

  -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
