-          Continue to pray for the end of war between Russia and Ukraine.

Pray for Ukraine as Russian attacks continue. Primary targets have been energy facilities causing additional strain on Ukraine as they face war and winter weather. Pray for the leaders to end their conflicts and bring peace to their countries and their citizens.

Proverbs 15:18 – “A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension, but a patient man calms a quarrel.”

Romans 12:18 – “if it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

          Matthen 5:7 – “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”

-          Pray as protests continue in Iran.

As unrest intensifies, so do the clashes between protestors and security forces. The basis for the protest is the economic collapse and as the government crackdowns become more violent and extensive, hundreds have been wounded and over two thousand people have been arrested. As nationwide protests grow, President Trump (US) reiterated a warning cautioning Iran that security forces should not resort to mass killings of peaceful protestors, or the United States would respond forcefully.

The Islamic Republic is also facing renewed international sanctions over its nuclear program, acute water and electricity shortages and the looming recession. Pray for new and wise leadership/government in Iran.

Psalm 9:17,18 – “The wicked return to the grave, all the nations that forget God. But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish.”

-          Pray for Mexico.

Pray for those affected by the recent earthquake in Mexico where two people were killed and dozens injured. The quake also resulted in landslides, road closure and damage to homes and infrastructures. Pray for those who lost loved ones and pray healing for those injured and without homes.

Psalm 121:1,2 – “I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help co-me from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

-          Pray for the unrest in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States.

Protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in Minneapolis and an incident where a woman was shot and killed by an ICE officer, who has claimed self-defense, leads to continued unrest in the city. Pray for President Trump and the government officials to move forward in wisdom with the ICE program and bring peace to the streets in Minneapolis.

Proverbs 8:14-17 – “Counsel and sound judgement are mine; I have understanding and power. By me kings reign and rulers make laws that are just; by me princes govern, and all nobles who rule on earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.”

John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

 -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
