Praise God for the recent United States victory in the overturn of Roe v. Wade. However, do not let one success stop your prayers, there are still battles around the globe to win. Pray for abortions to end everywhere, not just because of laws but due to changed hearts. Pray that parents would want their babies, the immoral sexual activity would cease, and that provider’s hearts would be changed, and they would not participate in abortion practices. Pray for those who have been involved in abortions to seek God’s forgiveness and healing, pray for wise and Godly counseling services to be available for those finding themselves in an unwanted pregnancy, and pray for adoptions to be an available and affordable option. See Psalm 139:13-16.

We need to continue to pray for government leaders/officials in all countries, that they will desire God’s will for their lives, their countries, and their people. “I urge, then, first of all that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.,” 1 Timothy 2:1-2.

We need to pray against fear as individuals and nations. Pray that the lies of the media would be revealed, and that truth would prevail. “The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1.

We need to pray against the predicted food shortages, due to weather conditions, disease, disasters such as fires in warehouses, war, and man manipulations. Ask God to give us wisdom on how to prepare to provide for ourselves and others, see the story of Joseph in Genesis 41:15 -56. Also call on the Lord as you read in Exodus 17 where God provided Mamma and Quail for the Israelites in the desert.

We need to pray for unity, in our families, in our churches, and in our nations. “Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.,” Matthew 12:25.

When one battle is won, it is not time to rest, but time to pick up our weapons and move forward toward further victories. Prayer is our most available and powerful weapon, so “pray without ceasing,” 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

Continue to pray for Ukraine.
