- Pray for Russia to end the fight.
A Russian drone hit a Romanian apartment building injuring two people and causing evacuations last week. Concerns continue to heighten as the conflict spills beyond Ukraine’s borders. Pray for an end to this war and pray protection over Ukraine and surrounding countries.
Proverbs 14:11,12 – “The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish. There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, it leads to death.”
- Pray for France.
Anti-religious hatred, mostly towards Jewish people and Christians, has resulted in some physical violence and vandalism to churches and religious properties. As these threats grow there is concern over religious freedom and social cohesion in France. Pray for hearts to soften and for unity among the people of France.
Psalm 133:1 – “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.”
- Continue prayers for Iran and the Middle East.
As United States President Trump attempts to keep fragile peace negotiations alive strikes continue. Pray for Christians and innocent citizens in Iran, pray for the Strait of Hormuz to open, and pray for an end to this conflict. Give President Trump and other leaders wisdom to move in the direction the Lord has planned, to move in his righteousness.
2 Samuel 23:2-4 – “The Spirit of the Lord spoke through me; his word was on my tongue. The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: When one rules over men in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God, he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth.”
- Pray for the Ebola crisis to end.
Pray for all those infected with this disease that there will be healing. Pray for the doctors and care givers of the sick to be protected from the disease. Pray for the families who have lost loved ones to be comforted.
Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
- Pray for India.
It is suspected twenty-one people are dead from a hotel fire in New Delhi last Wednesday. Over forty other people were rescued and taken to hospitals. Eighteen of the victims were foreign nationals. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, pray for those that need healing from the fire, and pray for the first responders working to help those in need.
2 Corinthians 1:3,4 – “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
- Pray for hearts touch by mission outreaches.
As missionaries travel and reside throughout the world ministering to people and bringing the Good News of the Gospel, may hearts that have been touched, continue to seek the Lord and grow in relationship with him.
John 14:6,7 – “Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
- Pray for Israel.
Psalm 122:6,7 – “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
