-          Continue prayers for Ukraine.

Russian drones struck a Ukrainian shopping center on August 21, leaving sixteen people dead and injuring one hundred thirty people, including twenty-three children. Ukraine seeks help from the “Coalition of the Willing,” a British and French led group of countries supporting Ukraine. Pray for this war to end as Europe remains on alert as the fighting continues.

Proverbs 20:26 – “A wise king winnows out the wicked; he drives the threshing wheel over them.”

Psalm 32:7 – “You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”

Pray for Nepal and Tibet.

Massive flash flooding, presumed to be caused by an avalanche from the breaking of a glacier and rock, has killed over five hundred people and left fifteen hundred missing. Homes, roads, and bridges have been destroyed. Rescue efforts remain underway, calling in help from China and India. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, pray for healing of the injured, and pray for the rescue teams.

Psalm 38:21,22 – “O Lord, do not forsake me; be not far from me, O my God. Come quickly to help me, O Lord my Savior.”

Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

-          Pray for Pakistan.

Pray for Pakistan families as fourteen babies were killed in a government hospital, nursery for newborns. The babies were there for specialized care, but an air conditioning compressor exploded, causing the fire that took their lives. Pray with the grieving families.

2 Corinthians 1:3,4 – “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received God.”

-          Pray for Haiti.

Pray against the gang violence that continues in Haiti. In a targeted attach on homes and a church compound, forty-seven people were killed and over fifty people kidnapped. As Haiti continues to face humanitarian and security crisis, pray for the innocent and pray for the churches that provide sources of refuge to not become targets of violence.

Psalm 40:13, 14 – “Be pleased, O Lord, to save me; O Lord, come quickly to help me. May all who seek to take my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.”

-          Continue prayers for Israel and the Middle east.

Pray as Israel continues to fight against terrorist. Pray for Iran as punishment increases for Iranians who interact with foreign media outlets. Iranian Christians fear the loss of total contact with the outside world as they are targeted and persecuted. Pray for an end of terrorism and for persecuted Christians.

Proverbs 21:30 – “There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.”

-          Pray for American.

As America prepares for the twenty fifth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack, take a moment to pray for the families that lost loved ones and pray for Americans and those around the world as they fight against terrorism. Pray against socialism and communism in American. Pray that people would not believe the lies of the enemy and would appreciate the freedom we have in America.

Psalm 32:10,11 – “Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trust in him. Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!

 -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
