-          Pray for the family of Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk, a born again Christian and conservative activist, died last week, after being shot at an event at Utah Valley University, United States. He spent time speaking to young people throughout the country sharing his conservative views and backing them up with the Word of God, the Bible. Pray for his wife, Erika, and their children as they mourn this loss. Pray for believers to be bold in sharing the Good News and not to walk in fear.

Philippians 1:20,21 – “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

Mark 16:15 – “He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

-          Continue prayers for Afghanistan.

Pray for those affected by the earthquake that destroyed entire villages and killed many last week. Many are facing loss of loved ones and homes. Due to aftershocks people are afraid to enter buildings for shelter and are sleeping in the rain. Tents, food, water, water, and medical help are needed, and pray that assistance arrives to aid those in need. Pray for non-believers to come to the Lord.

Proverbs 18:10 – “The name of the Lord is a strong tower’ the righteous rum to it and are safe.”

-          Pray for Israel and Ukraine.

Pray for Israel as they prepare “Gideon’s Chariots II” as a next step to dismantle the Hamas regime. Pray for protection over the innocent and pray for an end to the terror and evil.

Continue to pray for Ukraine as Russian strikes continued last week as central Kyiv was hit on an overnight air assault. Peace talks continue to be stalled and the war rages on.

Philippians 2:3 – “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

Proverbs 29:2 – “When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

-          Pray for the persecuted.

Pray for the violence to end in Nigeria. Last weekend local security forces and Islamic fighters killed over one hundred people, many victims were identified as Christians.

Also pray for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) as an Islamic State group killed at least sixty-one people attending a funeral with machetes and guns. The attackers also torched about thirty homes. Others were killed in another village the same night. Christian persecution is mounting in eastern DRC.

Pray for protection of the Christians in these persecuted countries and pray for their faith to increase and that they will not live in fear because of their faith.

Matthew 5:11,12 – “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

-          Pray for United States President Trump.

Pray for President Trump’s protection and increased wisdom as he draws near to God. He has pledged to defend religious liberty and went on the say that “The Bible is also an important part of the American history.” He pointed out that the Bible has shaped civilizations, ethics, art, and literature, and has brought hope, healing, and transformation to many. Pray for revival in the land where all will call on the name of the Lord.

Psalm 145:18 – “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

Isaiah 55:6 – “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call o him while he is near.”

  -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
