-          Pray for churches in Ukraine.

The Evangelical Churches are growing in Ukraine as the war continues. One hundred six new churches have started over the past four years and over thirteen thousand people have been baptized. As war and uncertainty surround people in Ukraine, they are searching for hope and “they’re finding that faith in Christ is the only anchor in the storm,” as reported in Worthy News last week. Continue to pray for an end to this war and give praise as churches grow and people give their lives to the Lord.

Romans 5:1,2 – “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.”

-          Pray for Israel.

As Israeli Lebanese agreement talks continue Hezbollah is identified as the central obstacle. Hezbollah rejects any thought of disarmament and Israel is intolerable to their presence along their northern border, as they are searching for border security. The question remains “whether the Lebanese state can reclaim authority from a terror organization” whose actions could push the entire nation into war. Pray for the end of terrorism and for the peace of Jerusalem.

Proverbs 14:22 – “Will they not go astray who devise evil? But kindness and truth will be to those who devise good.”

Psalm 122:6,7 – “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; May they prosper who love you. May peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.”

-          Pray for Taiwan.

As Xi Jinping, China’s leader, and President Trump, United States, met this past week, tariffs and war involving Iran were topics of discussion, but the future of Taiwan was the most critical. Pray for Taiwan to remain a democracy and not fall under Communist China rule.

Proverbs 13:20-23 – “He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Adversity pursues sinners, but the righteous will be rewarded with prosperity. A good man leave an inheritance to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.”

-          Pray against outbreak and fear of the Hantavirus.

Pray against Hantavirus outbreak that recently occurred on a cruise ship. This virus typically spread through contact with infected rodents, their urine, or droppings is sending alarm and fear. Give medical teams wisdom as they deal with this virus and pray that people will not be driven to unnecessary fearfulness. Pray for families of those who may have lost loved ones to this virus and pray for healing to any who have contracted this virus.

2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

-          Pray for an end to abortion.

In the United States, the Democrats and abortion -rights groups celebrated the Supreme Court ruling allowing abortion pills by mail to be continued. They plan to keep abortion as the center of mid-term elections. Meanwhile, the legal and moral battle will continue over abortion practices and laws. Pray for an end to all desires to have, perform, or condone abortion, the taking of a life.

Psalm 139:15,16 – “My frame was not hidden from when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

-          Continue prayers for persecuted Christians in Nigeria.

The killings continue as suspect Muslin Fulan, herdsman, murdered thirteen people, this past week, to include three pregnant women. Between October 2024 and September 2025, it has been reported that three thousand, four hundred ninety Christians have been killed in Nigeria. This account for approximately seventy-two percent of Christians killed worldwide, because of their faith, during this time. Pray for Christians and for governmental support and protection of their citizens.

Matthew 5:11 – “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

-          Pray for Sons of Thunder and Zambia.

Pastor Jerry Beall and his wife Cheryl, along with a team of eleven people will be heading for Zambia this week to spread the Gospel. Pray for a Crusade that will be held in Senkobo, a large village near the Sons of Thunder Farm, and continue the mission of “feeding Africa spiritually and physically through the enabling of the Holy Spirit.” Pray for safety and provision for the team and for hearts to be open to the Good News and that souls will be saved.

Mark16:15,16 – “He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

 -          Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
