- Pray for the Middle East.
The United States/Israeli strike on Iran could spiral into a prolonged regional conflict. The goal is to destroy Iran’s missile threat, dismantle elements of Iran’s navy, and to ensure “no nukes.” Pray for Christians in Iran and all the people that would like to see a change in government. Pray for righteous leadership to come into place and that the terrorist activities do not continue. Pray for U.S. and Israeli military throughout the Middle East and pray for missionaries serving in this part of the world, that they will be protected and able to continue to spread the Good News to desperate nations.
Proverbsf10:24,25 – “What the wicked dreads will overtake him, what the righteous desire will be granted. When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.”
- Continue prayers for Ukraine.
As the Middle East war progresses, peace talks with Russia, the United States, and Ukraine are postponed. Pray for this ongoing war to end and relief for those sufferings in Ukraine and Russia.
Psalm 35:4-8 – “May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay. May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the Lord driving them away; may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them. Since they hid their net for me without cause and with out cause dug a pit for me, may ruin overtake them by surprise, may the net they hid entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.”
- Pray for Cuba.
As Cuba faces the pressures of a struggling government, blackouts, and fuel and food shortages, pray for the end of Communist rule and for righteous government to serve the people of Cuba.
Psalm 35:4-6 – “In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness; let your right-hand display awesome deeds. Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies, let the nations fall beneath your feet. Your throne< O God, will last for ever and ever, a scepter of justice will be the scepter or hour kingdom.”
- Pray for Bolivia, South America.
A military plane crashed in Bolivia killing twenty-two people and injuring thirty-one others. Pray for the families that lost loved ones and pray for healing for those injured. The plane was carrying banknotes and people were being arrested as they attempted to steal the notes. Defense Minister Marcelo Salinas stated that the money has no legal value and attempting to use this money would be considered a crime.
Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Matthew 4:23 – “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
