- Pray for Indonesia.
Five people are dead and twenty-nine are missing after a ferry sank near Bali. Pray for those who have lost loved ones in this accident.
Psalm 23:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
- Pray for Kootenai County Idaho, United States.
Two fire fighters were killed and another wounded by a sniper attack while battling a brush fire last week. It was reported that the fire was started intentionally to draw the firefighters in for this attack. Authorities did track down “the body of the suspected sniper.” Pray for the families mourning the loss of their loved ones, pray for the recovery of the injured fire fighter, and pray for all our first responders.
Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Psalm 11:5 – “The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates.”
- Pray for Christians in India.
On June 23rd, over thirty Christians were injured when they gathered for a pray event and were attached by a mob. It was “estimated 400 individuals, reportedly armed with axes and sticks, stormed the gathering in a coordinated assault.” This attack is “part of a larger pattern of rising violence against Christians in India.” Pray for those injured in this attack, for Christians to be protected as they stand for their faith, and for authorities to address the violence against Christians.
Matthew 5:10-12 – “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
- Praise for Supreme Court rulings in the United States.
The Supreme Court “sided with parents in Montgomery County, Maryland, affirming their right to opt their pre-K and elementary age children out of LGBTQ-Inclusive story time and classroom instruction that conflicts with their religious beliefs.” Pray more parents will step up and fight the curriculums that oppose God’s Word.
Proverbs 22:6 – “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it.”
The Supreme Court also ruled “in favor of a Texas law that requires pornographic websites to verify users’ age.” This is a win for parental rights and child protection.
Matthew 18:5,6 – “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my named welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
