- Continue to pray for the Middle East.
Iran and the United States extended the ceasefire to allow for more negotiations. The U.S. is adamant that Iran must abandon their nuclear ambitions and if no deal is reached, the U.S. is prepared to strike Iran’s energy infrastructure.
Proverbs 12:20 – “There is deceit in the hearts of those who plot evil, but joy for those who promote peace.”
- Pray for Turkey as they mourn.
Eight children and a teacher were killed by a teenage gunman at a school shooting in the province of Kanramanmaras last week. Thirteen others were wounded. Pray for the families who lost loved ones and pray for the school as they work through this loss of a teacher and students. Pray for healing of those injured. As Turkey is mourning this loss, it is concerned over this event as sixteen people were injured in an earlier school shooting in Southeastern Turkey. Pray for the healing of those who were injured.
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
- Pray for Christians in India.
Eighty percent of the population in India are Hindu and approximately 2.3 percent are Christians. A report to Worthy News stated that “a Growing number of people want to see India as a purely Hindu nation,” this is causing concern for Christians. Laws are being proposed to subdue Christianity and persecutions of various forms have been reported. Pray for Christians to remain strong and for a government that would allow freedom of religion throughout India.
Proverbs 13:9 – “The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.”
- Pray for an end to Planned Parenthood.
According to their latest annual report, Planned Parenthood has performed a record number of abortions as opposed to other healthcare services showing a decline in abortions. Other services they provide offered as women’s healthcare showed steep declines, indicating abortion as their focus. Renewed concerns from Pro-life advocates to defund the nation’s largest abortion providers are outraged by the abortions and taxpayer money supporting this agency. Pray for the defunding of Planned Parenthood and pray for hearts to change and that no woman or man would want to kill their unborn child. Pray that those providing abortion services would realize the lives they are taking and would end the killings.
Leviticus 18:21 – “Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.”
Psalm 139:14,15 – “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depts of the earth.”
Psalm 127:3-5 – “Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.”
- Continue to pray for Revival and salvation.
The University of Samford, in Birmingham, AL (USA), experienced many Gen Z students committing their lives to Christ and being set free on April 8th. Sixty-four students publicly committed to Christ. As we see more young people come to Christ, continue to pray for an increase, and pray for revival in The Church, the Bride of Christ.
Psalm 85:4-7 – “Restore us again, O God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us. Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation.”
- Continue to pray for abortion to end everywhere. Continue to pray for Israel.
